How the morning unfolds

Four movements.
One complete morning.

Each part of the day deepens the one before it. By the time you reach the table, you'll have touched the land, learned from it, and made something from it.

45 min
The Forage Walk
We walk the land together with the farm — moving slowly, noticing what's growing, what's edible, what's been here far longer than any of us. No rush. Just attention.

02
30 min
Herb Lore
Our herbalist takes you deeper into the plants you've just met — their histories, their uses, their relationship to this particular place and season. Equal parts science and story.

Botanical Paper-Making
Make a sheet of paper by hand, pressed with botanicals gathered on the walk. The process is meditative and surprisingly satisfying. You leave with something made from the morning itself.

The Spread
Local food, local drink, local makers. Everything on the table was grown or made nearby, and the people behind it are often right there with you. Unhurried. No agenda.

"No experience needed. Just a willingness to be present, get your hands in something, and leave feeling like you've actually been somewhere."

About
Rooted

A Nofoloco experience series

Rooted is a series of small, carefully curated experiences that bring people into real contact with the land, the makers, and the crafts of the North Fork.

Each gathering is built around a season, a skill, and a place — shaped by the farms, herbalists, makers, and growers who have roots here. The goal is simple: to leave feeling more present, more connected, and more alive to what's already around you.

The Field & Table is the first Rooted experience. Future gatherings will follow the seasons — a summer dye garden, a fall harvest morning, a winter table. Each one different. Each one rooted in the same place.

Rooted is curated and hosted by Nofoloco — a project built by someone who works on the farms, knows the makers, and is genuinely crazy about the North Fork.
